Had a cavity filled 6 hours ago, my mouth is still completely frozen. Is this normal?
It was a small cavity and didn't take long to fill, but my mouth still feels fully frozen 6 hours later. Should I be concerned?

Nope don't worry. Your dentist just gave you extra shots and that will just make it more frozen for a litte longer than usual. If it continues to be fully frozen in 3 hours, make sure you stop by the office in the morning or make a call to talk to him.

not neccessarily. drink alot of water and it will wear off quicker. You are just taking a long time to metabolize it. Next time tell your dentist to use either less or not as strong anesthesia. If for some reason it doesn't start to wear off in the next 2-3 hours I would be concerned. Some denta anesthesia can take 8 hours or more to wear off. GOOD LUCK
