Will UCs award bonus GPA for English 2 Honors taken sophomore year?

So, I know for some honors classes, UCs give the AP GPA boost, but I'm not sure if that is the case if taken sophomore year.

    You may be confusing a weighted and an unweighted GPA. The "bonus" may be extra weight given for certain classes such as honors classes. Please speak to your guidance counselor about this matter./
