Why is Coke switching to white caps?

It seems to be for all its products. Regular Coca-Cola had red caps, Coke Zero had black caps, etc.

Its solely for marketing purposes. The company wants to have an entire block of shelving identifiable as Coke products. So were we see the 2L bottles hoover above the 12 packs we will see a white line that is identified as coke row. This is, it is believed, will draw more attention to Coke products and thus increase sales.

Some say it's because the new black caps weren't going back on correctly after it's been opened. (For Example: Sometimes when you try to put on the caps it becomes all tilted)

Others say they just liked the old look better & that Coke is switching to the original look.

Economics. Using the same color cap on all their products is cheaper than producing various colors. And, just an FYI, the color of a cap has nothing to do with how well it screws back on.
