Solution for vaginal dryness?
My girlfriend has been suffering from discomfort for the past 2 days, while she was on her period, she used a larger than normal tampon, and thinks this may be the cause.
Can anybody suggest what we can do?
Thanks

Yes, that is the cause, that happened to me too. I just stuck out the pain for a few days until it went away.
Source(s): I have more to add. Also, I wasn't dry down there when I used a large tampon, so lube won't help. She has to wait out the pain, it may last a week or two. I feel sorry for her because I know how much pain she is in. =( - Anonymous10 years ago
From medical perspective, saliva has the same properties as the natural flowing juices a woman secretes. Saliva also helps to stimulate the receptors that release the natural juices of a woman. Just a q-tip of saliva or four should have her back to normal in no time, however, if the dryness persists, take two Aleve and consult a physician immediately, as it could possibly be a latent manifestation of blue balls.
