Who in their right mind decided to change the yahoo mail format ?

Can anyone give me a valid reason why Yahoo would change the mail format.

The existing format was good. It rivalled Gmail in delivering a useful email package.

But this new system lacks many of the former layout.

My photos have disappeared and there is now no way to mark emails as read and although they say it's faster,,,it isn't!

Surely the reason to change something is to improve things. This new format is akin to painting the Sistine chapel with a roller and standing back to admire your work.

It just doesn't cut it.

Gmail here I come.
