Algebra 1 questions, Help please?
Ok, so I need help as soon as possible. Here are the Algebra 1 questions:
1.) Find the product: (2x + 1)(x + 3)
2.) Find the product: (x + 1)(x^2 + x + 1)
3.) Find the product: (x + 2)(x - 2)
4.) Find the product: (x + 5)^2
5.) Use the zero-product property to solve the equation:
(x + 4)(x - 2) = 0
6.) Use the zero-product property to solve the equation:
(x + 3)^2 = 0
7.) A rectangle has an area given by A = x^2 + 5x + 6
Find an expression for the possible width of the rectangle.

after multiplying, we'll get:
2x^2+x+6x+3
=2x^2+7x+3.

x^3+x^2+x^2+x+x+1
=x^3+2x^2+2x+1.

x^2+2x-2x-4
=x^2-4

(x+5)(x+5)
=x^2+5x+5x+25
=x^2+10x+25.

x=-4
(x-2)=0
x=2.

(x+3)^2=0
x+3= sqrt(0)
x+3=0
x=-3
or
(x+3)(x+3)=0
(x+3)=0
x=-3
the same procedure to d second (x+3).

area=x^2+5x+6
=(x^2+3x+2x+6)
=x(x+3)+2(x+3)
=(x+2)(x+3)
therefore the width of the rectangle if vertical= (x+2) and if horizontal= (x+3).
