Monster hunter tri weapon sharpness?

1. You need the armor skill "Sharpness +1" to unlock the second stage of sharpness for every weapon.

2. You require 15 points of Handicraft to unlock Sharpness +1.

3. Armors that give handicraft are Ceadeus/Ceadeus+/Deviljho armor. You can also mix&match along with talismans and jewels.

Higher sharpness usually comes from upgrading your weapon and using better/rarer drops. If you are asking what items are required to obtain upgrade, look at the weapon and see what you need. Usually iron weapons require ore, the upgrade usually require iron ore.
