Yes. Legitimate. I have shopped using this online venue, and have had no problems with the etsy.com checkout system itself. I have never gotten spam.

I think many problems I have had on this website is due to the sellers themselves, as this is a marketplace-type of website. So, even though I use this website and trust it, I still have to be aware of what kind of sellers I buy from, and would advise other customers to be just as cautious in that sense.
