Why have people become so mean over the Internet?

Cowards hide behind anonymity. These people think they are entertaining themselves but they are really hiding from themselves.

i think a lot of people are simple venting their frustrations of harsh life of today through the internet. its easy, its an outlet and they dont have to face many consequences.

i agree its sad , i do it myself a lot i get really enraged with people online and have been guilty of typing vile insults or let out my frustration in questions by describing violent emotions in fine detail.....but i know and most people who know me know that i dont mean it , know that that isnt me.

I started coming on here 3 years ago...even then they've been doing it. seems instead of Santa's Helpers we have Satan's Helpers on here sometimes.
