Why have I got no TV signal?

Has the Rowridge transmitter blown up.

I've had my TV on for a while now and no digital or terrestrial signal, and yes, the TV is fine. I've tried on 2 of them.

Update:

Let me add a little since the first reply.

My question was about the Rowridge transmitter. I know that my equipment is working fine. I know quite a lot about broadcasting. So the issue is the signal not in the air. Does anybody know if Rowridge is down or if there is a power cut on the Isle of Wight?

We also receive our TV signal from Rowridge. We have had no problems at all today or any other time this week (we are 20 miles away from the transmitter, as the crow flies).

Therefore, the problem simply cannot be with the signal.

I'm having no trouble picking up Rowridge from a line of sight distance of about 8 miles. It's been on air continuously as far as I can tell. So it's possible that your aerial is throwing a wobbly.

Ask a neighbour if they're having trouble if you want to confirm the state of things.
