Give her gripe water. It can do miracles. Just 5 ml or 1 tea spoon of gripe water every 8 hours. It worked like a charm with my baby girl... And she never had tummy problems after that:) it's absolutely harmless and has so side effects... And babies usually love the taste:) but be sure u give a gap of atleast 4 hours. 6 to 8 hours is usually the best gap cz it's easier to manage and remember... And mean while get some olive oil or baby oil. Put ur baby on her tummy and rub her back. This will help pass the gas:) good luck. Hope she feels better soon:)

My daughter is almost 2 months old and we had this exact problem when she was a couple days old and then again when she was 3 weeks old. I posted the same question on here and everyone told me to give her water or prune juice- DO NOT DO THIS. My doctor told me that babies cannot handle any form of liquid besides milk. So my doctor told me to inject a anal thermometer into her bottom and leave it in there until she explodes (your baby will explode lol) don't push it too far though! Another thing you can do which also really helped was getting an infant suppository and cutting it in half and slipping it into the bottom- this also worked well!
I started to water down my daughters formula a little and she hasn't gotten constipated since! For example: Instead of doing 2 oz water, 1 scoop of formula.. I do 2.5 oz water, 1 scoop of formula. I also had a half oz more.
Hope this helped!

Ask her doctor what to give her to stop the constipation. Castoria is usually a good baby laxative. You need to find out what is causing the constipation; I would bet it has something to do with her formula.

It may be that her formula is not agreeing with her.
