Why do people compare bf3 and mw2 it annoys me?

Call of Duty is the best selling and most played franchise right now so people are gonna compare every shooter to COD. That's the way it works. If your on top your the benchmark everything else is compared to whether your really that similar or not. Im getting both so I could care less about comparisons anyway. Don't sweat the small stuff.

personally I agree with you. bf3 feels real, e.g. the sniper taking into consideration the wind and angles .. whereas CoD its action packed - all at once action (epic) ...

I dont even think that MoH actually ranks anywhere near bf3 ...

bf3 is the game of all first person shooter games. CoD is only good because other people love it. You actually look at its rating compared with MoH and bf3 and all the xbox mags and all the game experts say that CoD is poor and MoH good but bf3 outstanding

i know you may think rivalries or fanboys are annoying but we actually need them because its no fun if there are no rivals right? same thing as exclusives, if all systems share the same game whats the point in having 4 consoles??but as i was saying, when both games are going against each other its fun. every once in a while it feels good to have something of your own like xbox gamers have gears and ps3 has uncharted

so idk how people can compare them(unless xbox already has theres out).....but im interested in BF3...since i havent taken any interest in battefield before(but battlefield 1943 is a good game to download)

and the reason is cause i like to snipe in FPS games...and BF3 is talking about taking sniping to a whole new level! Bullet drop and windage....:)

but anyway, MW2 iv gotten sick of....the game with all the hackers its gotten annoying.

Now idk how battlefield2 is, but iv heard it does have more realisim in it....

But its hard to compare the call of duty and battlefield together...both have a different gaming style, Medal of honor and battefield probably have simalar gaming styles....and as of call of duty, its hard to compare it to other FPS games....call of duty is one of the FPS game U can Pick up and b good at(if u r good at FPS games) with not alot of addaption needed.

But mostly what i hear is...call of duty and halo being compared.lol

but as far As battlefield and call of duty being compared? There different in there own ways(but if people r trying to say BF3 or MW3 is going to b better than the other than thats stupid)

I think people compare them cause they are both first person shooters with similar looking guns and avatars. But yes, they are nothing alike once you play them.
