Did the Houston Texans consider to put Mario Williams to play the Linebacker position?
I saw him that he wasn't playing as a defense linemen during the preason game against the Jets. Is Williams going to play that position for remaining season as a outside linebacker?

Wade Phillips has made this change. He will indeed be playing the Linebacker position for at least the majority of this year. They're trying it out. Obviously if it doesn't work out, they're going to put him back on the D-line.

Yupp there gonna try him out there. He has all the tools (speed,quickness,length,strength) to excel at the position I think. His coach still said he's going to do alot of rushing the passer though because that's where he shines most. Look for Williams to improve his tackle numbers (maybe even his sack numbers) this coming season.
