Firefox font problems?

I had to close and reopen Firefox, and when I did all the fonts were bolded. The bold fonts were.. Double bolded I guess?

Here's a comparison picture. The way GC has it's fonts is how Firefox's used to be.

I had the same problem, and since I didn't have Helvetica installed, I figured it was something wrong with Arial since that was the next font listed in the CSS.

Other sites tipped me on about reinstalling Arial for this problem, but that didn't help for me.

What help for me was deleting Arial Black, and boom, everything went back to normal. I guess Firefox got confused somehow and started using Arial Black instead of regular Arial.

    Hope this helps!

Edit: Check Google for info on how to delete/uninstall fonts for your OS version. (In Windows you do it through the Control Panel.)

You can override what the website sends, and only display what you want, if that will help:

Tools> Options> Content tab> Fonts & colors> Advanced> ►►uncheck "Allow pages to choose..."> move up the list and select what font you want> OK out.
