My period is late, and i am only 12 HELP!! ?

If you're only 12, you're likely pretty new to the whole period thing and that means your body is new to it too and hasn't settled into a routine yet. For the first few years your periods may be late a lot and sometimes you may even skip one.

Start charting your periods by keeping track of when they start, how long they last, how heavy certain days are and whether you experience particular physical or emotional symptoms through the month. This will help you see a pattern and work out what is normal for you.

Everyone's normal is different.

It is normal don't worry! If you miss 4 or more Periods go to the Doctors. Hope this helps

It's not late.. at your age you will not have regular periods.. you may go for months without another one.. they will take a while to become regular..

That's normal....calm down. You are young and your body is now getting accustomed to all these new hormones. It's very normal for young girls who menstruate for their periods to skip a couple months or sometimes even for a whole year. No need to freak out its quite normal. Just eat healthy and STAY AWAY FROM JUNK FOOD it makes for bad cramps.

Just be patient :) some girls are not always regular.. I know when i was your age it was always different didn't have it every month on time.. if it doesn't start within a week or so go see your doctor :) good luck girly

because you're so young, your period can come late alot, it doesn't get very regular until later, so don't worry about it, this is normal :)
