You will file a Rhode Island non-resident state income tax return.
You will file a federal income tax return.
You should be prepared to explain to Rhode Island how you were able to live in Florida and work in Rhode Island at the same time. They are too far apart to commute by car on a daily basis.

You will have to file a Rhode Island non-resident tax return. Florida has no state income tax so nothing to do there.

You will file one 1040 that includes all of your income for the year.
You will file a Rhode Island non-resident or part-year resident return (whichever is appropriate) for the income earned in Rhode Island.
