Does Asus provide a standard warranty for all of their laptops?
I'm buying an Asus A53SV-XN1 from Newegg.com, and I'm wondering if they give a standard factory warranty. Newegg offering extended warranties leads me to believe all laptops are sold with a standard warranty. If you could help me it would be nice. I really don't want to have to deal with service net techs.

Yes,
Asus products comes with a 1 year standard warranty covering certain parts of the laptop. To be honest, extended warranty from the retailer are usually pointless because your product tends to become defective way after the warranty expires, and anything that turns up will probably be in 30 days but if not you still have the manufacturing warranty. Plus most computer can be fixed yourself.
