um guys i have a question , im planning to buy a ps3 , and im curious if a jailbreak ps3 can go online ? can u still play games without a HD TV ? please answer , and if jailbreak ps3 can go multiplayer online , how do you do it without getting caught by sony ?

Jailbreak doesn't remove any feature, it adds them. But if you do go online, i'd give it about 2 weeks until they catch you and once they do, they'll ban your MAC address, which is unique to your ps3. And they will permanently suspend every account associated with that ps3. If this happens, you'll never, ever be able to go back online, even if you remove the custom firmware and install the official one. Only way to go back online after that is to buy a new ps3 and create a new account.

Sony can catch EVERYONE. I think even if you don't have online.... But yes you can play games with out a HDTV but you don't get the true experience.
You can't do it with out getting caught by sony so don't even try. Jail Break Xbox's they never catch you.

Yes you can, but you wouldn't be on for long as Sony would detect you running custom firmware, and ban your MAC address.

Yes you can my friends have a jailboken ps3 and are not caught yet but they will probably get banned.
