where to obtian an age proof for a real carved ivory statue?

I inherited  this ivory statue 15 years ago via my late grandfather, he bought it from Ghana when he used to work there at the embassy of our country,  certainly & most normally, there are no papers with it, so no receipts nor nothing, now when I tried to sell it, I found thousand obstacles, even auction rooms are not accepting  photo valuation, never mind selling! I cannot tell for sure whether this was carved before or after 1947, but I am certain it was near around that date, is there a way to get some professional age & authenticity written proof for this statue?

No place.
As you have found, unless you have paper documentation, photos taken which make the age clear (like your grandfather as much younger person), receipts, there is absolutely no way to date to prove what you want, especially within a few years of the critical date.  You own it but you can't sell it.
