Can i crossfire on a 550w psu?

Should be fine. 5770s eat about 100w under a full load, so you'd have 200w for your video cards and perhaps 150w used by the rest of the computer. You may want to pay closer attention to the amps on the 12v rail than overall wattage and do the math there.

I'll say yes, but under the condition that the power supply is an 80 plus gold certified power supply.
Could you please post the model #, make, etc so that we can confirm. Otherwise, it's really hard to say if you'll be able to crossfire. Also, if you have 4 PCI-E 6 pin power connector, more than likely you can crossfire because it's crossfire ready.
