Posting gifs/images on a message board?

I'm trying to figure out how to post Giff images on a message board. I know I need to insert information in the "insert image" window. Whenever I insert what I think is the correct info. for the Giff or image, nothing happens!

I even have been getting the "did no longer post" message considering the fact that could a million, 2015. i'm logged in, and that i provides thumbs up and thumbs down recs, yet in simple terms no longer post any message or respond. i've got rerbooted a coupe of situations, and the comparable subject happens with IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome, so it would not seem to be a browser subject, and my account is working, as i will recommend posts ok.

Usually you have to upload to a image storage site then copy paste a link to the forum, you may have to know the bullitin board engine to identify the proper address format choice.

Postimage.org is one of those sites made for forum images.
