Are Plasma tvs better than LED tvs?

I recommend you go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on tvs, along with the pro and con of each technology. You will notice that Panasonic has more Plasma tv being recommended than any type of tv from other manufacturer. Plasma is still considered to have the best picture quality of all tv in the market. For 2010 Home Theater Magazine named the Panasonic Plasma tv model VT25 as the best tv. For 2009 it was the Pioneer Elite Kuro also a Plasma tv. If you read yahoo questions, you will notice that 95% of tv problems comes from LCD/LED tv and 95% of those are the bargain price tv. I purchased my first Plasma tv in 2002, a Pioneer 43" Plasma and it is still running strong today. Keep in mind you get what you pay for. Hope this will help you out.

Generally Plasma TV's are better if you wanting to get big screen( ei plus 46inches) I would get a plasma TV may be better for picture quality. However anything smaller I would get an LED, They are also cheaper to run.

plasmas are bad the color runs it messes up and some even leak fluid your best bet is led/lcd(lcd best) flat screen high def and def stay away from anything that has a projectile part inside no matter the size the bulbs expensive an blow frequently and color not so good and sales peeps dont always tell you they tell you what they think you want hear research an take time buying a tv

LED is not better bcz its new launched technology .. if Display problem occurs then it wont available nearby and its expensive than plasma
