I want to put larger tires on truck?

I have P265/60/16 tires on a 2000 Chevy 4x4 and want to put a larger, not big, but something a bit taller and wider on it. Do I need to go to 17 inch rims or a 30 or 31 whatever tire on the factory rims?

No you don't need 17 although they do make the truck look good. The tire place will tell you the maximum size you can run on your truck.

degree for clearence whilst the tires are grew to become each and each of ways in the two course will the bigger tire clean the fenderwell for all time? if no longer stay with the oem set up humorous issues take place to the guidance and suspension whilst too a lot rigidity is utilized to a moving truck like a surprising invite to the returned of your friends wrecker.
