why does my remote unluck one of my door on my F-150 but not both of them?
What do I need to replace, and is it in the door or under the hood? My remote only unlocks the passenger side door. F-150 year 2002. I thank each and every one of you who will help me.
the lock/unlock switch on the driver or passenger door, opens the passenger door only as well as the remote.

You'll have to replace the power door lock actuator in the door that doesn't unlock. Very common problem in Fords. New actuator is about $55. You'll have to remove the door trim panel to get to it. Once inside,, disconnect the electrical connector and depress the plastic lock tab. Then the actuator slides off. Very awkward to get to it. You'll need a flashlight and mirror to find the correct place to depress.

First check power lock switch inside car both switches for right door if OK, some remotes you have to push unlock button on remote twice to unlock passenger door.If that doesn't work door receiver module bad. Other than that if doesn't work hitting switches has wiring or switch problem in truck.

The remote appears to be working correctly so i suspect the electric solenoid is faulty on the door that is not unlocking, you could have narrowed this problem down by telling us if the remote locks both doors, what about the lock/unlock switch on the driver or passenger door, does it work correctly.

Shoot some wd40 inside the lock move it up and down by hand. Read owners manual to see where the fuse box is and check the fuse. Good luck!
