How to do close up blur with exilim casio 8.1 mega pixels digital camera?

i have the older version of that camera, unless it has a macro mode, you set the best shot to portrait and it says set zoom to telephoto blurs the background. so just zoom in as much as you can with the optical zoom. it works, but mine is difficult :p
