Sunshine Islands: Is this a glitch?
I'm playing Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands, and something seems to be wrong.
The character Vaughn is only supposed to show up on Mondays and Tuesdays, but my character went with him on a "date" on a day that wasn't either of those days. Then after spending the Starry Night Festival with him, he has been staying on the island every day. Also, when I talk to him he says the line as if I had already talked to him, even though it's the first time for that day, and he won't accept gifts anymore, as if I had already given him one for the day (even though I didn't yet).
Is there a way to fix this? I don't want to restart my file :(

First that date was a Heart Event and it can happen on days that aren't Monday or Tuesday. It is normal. I guess he likes your character so much he decided to stop by.
Also that second occurrence is a glitch. But it is a very common non threatening glitch. Nearly everyone who goes to Starry Night with Vaughn has that same thing happen. Just wait a week or so. It will fix itself and things will go back to normal with him. You will not have to start your file over. But even though he is there for a few extra days you won't be able to gain any extra points. You won't be able to give him another gift until he is supposed to be there.
