There's a shuttle bus from the airport to Luton Airport Parkway train station. You take a First Capital Connect train to St Pancras International, walk through the main train station (worth a trip just to see it) to the Underground station, then take the Circle or Hammersmith & City Line Westbound to Paddington. You'll need to pay separately for the bus, but you can get a through ticket for the train and Underground.
