Yes, it is simple. You will need an auxiliary(aka aux) cable, (usually looks like a double sided headphone plug-in, with two male ends, can be bought at walmart and electronics stores) and if your receiver does not have an auxiliary plug-in, you will need to buy an RCA (red and white plug in) male to male AUX-IN Lead, for connecting Ipod, Iphone, smartphone and mp3 players to Home and Car Stereos. Plug the red and white male RCA cables into the 'Audio In' red and white female plug-ins on the back of your receiver, and then, simply plug the headphone-like side into the headphone port on your computer.
