I often have dreams about college - I am always frustrated in these dreams?

None of the places I find myself resemble where I actually went to school or involve persons I went to school with. I am 65 years old now. Any comments or insights are appreciated.

I used to get those when I was younger until abou 60. I was always in the wrong room for an important exam,or not having gone to any classes and not knowing anything about the subject.(actually this happened to me-I never went to a series of lectures and the final exam was one question on the subject which I did not know anything about) After many years of such dreams I thought to myself-so what if I fail,I'm going to enjoy life. I haven't had any more dreams like those.

School is a general symbol for the process of life itself in most dreams. The frustration you are experiencing probably means that there is some great lesson in life, or some person in your life that you have not been able to come to terms with and it bothers you, but you are currently unable to resolve it and this prevents you from "moving on"...if I knew more about what happened in the dream, I could be more precise, but I hope this helps. :)
