how do you delete questions on yahoo questions?

Delete Answers & Questions.

You can only delete open question or answers.

Return to the answer and click delete.

Return to the question and on the tool bar at the bottom find the pencil icon and click the delete option.

You can only do that if it's Your question and not yet in voting. Once a question has been resolved it becomes the property of Yahoo answers and cannot be deleted. That is part of the rules of the site which you agreed to when you signed up.

Resolved questions are never deleted. Once a question becomes a Resolved Question, it stays in Yahoo! Answers, available for searching and browsing.

If a question goes to Voting and No Best Answer is chosen the answer will be deleted. Go back to your In Voting questions and vote for No Best Answer.

You can only delete questions that you asked, and you can only do that while they are still 'open'. Once a question is in 'voting' or has been resolved via a Best Answer being chosen, the question belongs to Y!A and is in their database forever (or until they start archiving old Q&As anyway).

You can also email Yahoo Customer services at y_answers_team@yahoo.com or y_answrs_team@yahoo.com and ask for them to delete the question for you. In your email include the link to the question you want deleted, explain why you want it deleted and ask them to delete it for you

To delete your question while it's still open, go to the question page, pass your mouse over the pencil icon in the toolbar below your question, and click on Delete Question.
