Conservatives, Obama would beat Perry even in Texas, who else ya got?

Obama's polling at some of the lowest points of his Presidency and yet.. Republicans are polling even worse. Latest polls show Perry wouldn't even be able to carry Texas.

Is 2012 the end of the Teapublicans? 2 years and out of office?

I personally think Perry could win Texas, but he's too extreme in many other states...

You go ahead and put your trust in biased polls and I will trust the voting results.

That AP/GFK poll sampled 1000 adults, most political polls sample likely voters.

Now if you can find a similar poll conducted at the same time with similar results you might have something but you won't.

Polls are used to make news not report news.

obama could not beat Perry in Texas and Republicans will will in November.

NPR, who always tilt their position at least slightly to the left, mentioned yesterday that Obama against any Republican was currently ahead in the polls, 43% to the unnamed Rep's 40%. That's far worse than the commanding 13% lead he had in the spring.

I'm no fan of Rick Perry. If he gets the nomination, I'll likely vote Libertarian. But that doesn't change the fact that your buddy is in trouble.

As a leftist odds maker, a gambling lass willing to put her aizz on the line, I wouldn't bet on anyone yet.

As objective as I can be (as a leftist not a liberal) it seems Perry is too right-wing for USA centralism which really means (in leftist theory) that Perry (in the two party system) effectively pushes the political discourse to the right whether he wins or not.

Obama is being scapegoated for a financial collapse (and all the subsequent problems stemming from that collapse) that began under Bush, and sadly the majority of people are too stupid to be able to see beyond the propaganda, so it is likely that whoever runs against him will win.

Why is it you make these ludicrous claims but never seem to have any proof to back it up?

Personally I do not believe obama could win Texas even if every illegal was allowed to vote.

I looked for that poll, but did not find it. I did find a Florida poll that shows Perry beating Obama though:
