When I send message through Skype IM, the message is not sent (Pending)?

I have this issue in my desktop (Windows XP Pro) and Notebook (Windows 7).

Please don't ask to contact Skype cause they are not able to help so far.

Thank you!

'Pending' means the other user is not online, and will be delivered if they are online before you go offline, if not they are never delivered.

Skype chat is not like texting where the network waits (for up to 3 days?) for the phone to go online, then delivers the text. Skype chat is live interactive messaging. Chats will be sent and delivered if you are invisible, or away etc, but not if you are offline.

The Following Troubleshooting Steps May Usefull:

I Suggest you, Do a Skype clean upgrade to current build.

    1. Uninstall skype From Control Panel

    2. Delete skype folder in application data(you must check show hidden files in folder option then go to %appdata%\skype (type %appdata%\skype in start/run)

    3. Go to registry(type regedit in start/run)

FIND "skype" in keys, values, data and delete all of them(you can use f3 button for next and delete Button to do it as fast as possible)

    reboot pc.....

Alternatively, Download, Install and Run RegSeeker 1.55 (freeware) Available From Download.Com

Go to "Find In Registry", type "Skype", and delete ALL entries that it finds

    reboot pc.....

    4. Install the new version of skype(recommended) and JOIN IT

Use this direct link to download the latest versions of skype

    http://download.skype.com/SkypeSetupFull.exe

i gave you the offline installer. just click on the link i have given above, and download it on your "desktop"

when you got it, double click on it (run) and start installation.

this will install skype on your computer, without problems.
