men, do you think chatting with someone other than your partner is cheating?
i would like to know if men think chatting (some sex talk) with someone other than your partner is a deal breaker. i think i know how most women feel and i understand it is dishonest. i have discussed this with my partner and he knows what i need and want yet is unable to provide it. other than infrequent sex, our relationship is great.
i do not want to be preached at, i just wonder if most men think it is cheating.
and i have no desire to actually meet my online friend and would not ever have a physical relationship with him. he lives across the country so meeting him will not happen.

Of course it is. For me anyways.
Intimacy and sex are things that should be exclusive in a committed relationship. If my wife doesn't want to be intimate or have sex then either there's something wrong or I need to be patient. I wouldn't go out and talk about it with another woman because my wife isn't in the mood.
I understand where you're coming from when you say that it's not physical but for me, that's a technicality. Words are still exchanged and you're still imagining and discussing sex with someone other than your partner. It seems wrong to me.

If you wouldn't do it/say it in front of your partner...then you shouldn't do it/say it...
If you wouldn't want your partner to say/do the same thing with someone else...then you shouldn't say/do it...
If your relationship isn't satisfying you, then fix it or move on...sex talk isn't a "need"...a need is something you die without (air to breath, nutrition for your body, shelter to protect you from the elements, etc)...attention, chatting, sex talk, sexual activity, etc are not NEEDS...that doesn't mean they aren't important but they are DESIRES (we can live without them, most of us just prefer to have them in our lives)...
It's not okay for you to disrespect your partner...if he's okay with you chatting up other guys, that's fine...if you're hiding your behavior from him or he knows you've done it and wants it to stop, then you're in the wrong (and it will almost certainly ruin your relationship at some point)...

I trust the somewhat some posters that i would not evaluate finding at %. or examining memories to be cheating, the place it starts to pass a line for me is the changing of e-mails and nude %.. i'd freak out with the aid of fact i'd be questioning "how long till they are changing something??" i'd communicate over with him and enable him understand what you observed and what you do or do no longer locate perfect approximately it. acceptable of success.

Would you be texting/IMing this guy if your partner was sitting right next to you?
