Why are there so many deleted questions still on the YA database?
I was curious and went looking for questions with fewest answers on the R&S section and nearly 90% of what I looked at were deleted questions.

Can only be that the admins. haven't got round to removing then yet - even if some of them have been 'deleted' many months ago. Obviously, an admin on Y!A has a very busy life (Sssh! Listen! Violins have just started to play).

It takes time before the questions are deleted all together because the website needs to process the information before it can refresh itself :)
So many deleted questions these days...
