Per Mertesacker or Gary Cahill?

    I would have preferred Cahill because he would suit Arsenals style of play more with his distribution of the ball. Cahill is also fairly fast for a defender - although I don't think that would matter too much if your as good at positioning as Mertesacker is which makes up for his slow pace. But I'm not complaining, Mertesacker is still a top buy!

    Metesacker proven at the top level. Champions league experience he's a leader and 8 million cheaper than Cahill who I think is a little overated.
