iTunes keeps opening when iPod is connected?

I set iTunes to not open when I connect my iPod but it does it anyway. Is there another spot besides the summary page that I need to check?

Try opening iTunes, and then opening task manager or activity report. Disable the iTunes helper program, and iTunes will no longer automatically start.

Michael's answer might artwork, yet there is yet in any different case. Plug your iPod right into a different computing gadget or consumer account (one which additionally has iTunes), and tell it to not sync whilst it activates you. Then examine off "manually handle music" and hit keep on with (not Sync). then you definately can bypass back and plug it into your individual computing gadget and it will artwork. the two approach will artwork for you, whichever may well be least puzzling. in case you have better than one iPod syncing on your library, use my way.
