if you're shooting for a 10k-15k budget those cars you listed fall well below. basically what i'm saying is you can get a much nicer car within that budget.
what about cars like
Infiniti G35 coupe http://static.cargurus.com/images/site/2008/08/17/... 2004 - 2005 (possibly 06) will fall within your budget. great car, fast, fun, sporty, luxurious.
Nissan 350z http://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop/200512/2005-... 2004-2006 will fall within your budget. it's basically the same car as the G35 coupe but without the rear seat and a slightly stiffer suspension.
Honda S2000 http://image.automotive.com/f/images/9079556+phead... you could probably find an 03 or 04 within your budget. small, fast, fun car to drive.. no backseat
BMW 330Ci http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hk-4IAWTcq0/Te9YkPS6rSI/... you could find an 03-04 in your range. nice car.. fast, sporty and luxurious
If you search around all those cars will fall within your budget.
edit: I didn't see the "good gas mileage" part until i finished with my answer. the cars i listed aren't the best on gas but they aren't bad

Test drive a few and see which you like most.
Out of all those I would probably go for the Celica (toyotas are bombproof), but that's personal opinion.

get a smaller car such as a 1.0-1.4 litre car which is cheap on insurance and on tax and on petrol aswell.
if you get a car which is bigger than a 1.4 litre you are paying more on insurance and on petrol aswell.
alot of the smaller cars can get between 45-70 MPG (Mile per gallon). and you will save money on insurance and on petrol aswell.

Source(s): hope i helped and also alot of smaller cars look the same but some are the sporty ones aswell.
