Is beezid a scam? Or is beezid legit?

Does anyone know if beezid.com is legit? Or is it just some scam site. The deals look too good to be true, but I seem them advertising on TV all the time. Your thoughts?

    Beezid Scam

Here is everything you need to know about Beezid: http://scamsreviewed.com/Beezid/

In these types of auctions, you only gain something out of it if you actually win something or get a deal out of it otherwise you'll just be wasting bids and time if you're jumping in and out of bids and not committing to it. Whether its a scam or not, you would only know if you actually get something for cheap. Legit sites like Ebay have been around for awhile but the way how they run Beezid doesn't seem easy for the average person to mess with. This is something that definitely takes time to learn and study in order to get what you want, without losing a lot. A major problem I see is when they freeze the price at a certain value, keeping it low, forcing others to continue to bid on it so they can make tons of money while there is only one winning. This is how this site can make a lot of money to set these items at such a low cost because each penny that goes up is actually 60 cents paid by the bidder. So imagine how much the company is making from these bids.

There was a picture of an iPhone 6S Plus on sale from a person located in "CA". I responded to the ad via email of course (an email I don't use unless for spam of course) and I got this response.

    Hello RayRay,

I'm really sorry but you are too late! I've literally just sold it to someone else.

If you still want one I'll let you know a little secret but you have to promise me that you'll not share with anyone.

I actually do it to make money for myself.

If you’re really interested on it then i am suggesting you the website, I got 4 of these from http://beeziddeal.com/ and resold them for some extra money, try it and save your money.

The trick is to watch for bidding to slow down and then put in a bid on the last second. That's what I do and win most of the time.

    All the best

    Jolly

*** DO NOT RESPOND TO THESE TYPE'S OF ADS ON ANY SITE IT IS A SCAM TO GET YOU TO CLICK THE LINK - ALWAYS RESEARCH THE SITE PRIOR TO CLICKING ANYTHING ABOUT A 3RD PARTY SITE ***

Beezid is legit, but that depends on what you call a scam. Essentially, if you're looking for a cheap item, safer bets are eBay.com and Craigslist. The people(as mentioned above) who claim to have bought an item off of Beezid are scammers, and should be reported.

not a scam but they make alot of money off of you bidding on stuff and not winning it. you have to pay for a bid. so lets say they charge you 60cents a bid. if you have to bid 100 times to try and win the item that's $60 in their pockets, each time you bid the price of the item goes up by 1 cent. if an item is sold for $30 that's 3000 bids that have been done. so imagine 50 people bidding on each item and each paying $60, that's $3000 the company got and one lucky person won the item for $30. so $49 people lost thier $60. i also noticed that each time someone bids and if the clock is getting close to 0, it resets and adds another 10 or 15 secs. there's no set time for it to end. i think it ends when no one else bids.

see how they make their money and how we lose ours? so in short I WOULDN'T DO IT!

Well, i looked this up to see if it was legit or not. I like researching things im curious about and find out what it actually is. So beezid doesn't put all of the information on the Tv ad. They just say you bid until you win. Thats not the case. Pretty much they are false advertising, but their not at the same time. So what you do to actually bid is you have to pay money to bid. 100 bids is $50 US dollars Im pretty sure. You get to bid on any idem's 100 times, but you have to pay $50 dollars. So if your lucky you win something thats worth 300 dollars for say 24 dollars. But you also payed that 50 to get the bids. Most cases people don't win and are out 50 bucks. I don't use this site because its like gambling, you don't know if your going to win or not.

I just watched a guy make over 4,000 bids @ 25 cents each on an item that cost $825.00. Either beezid has created there own accounts to keep the bids rising or some people are just stupid. Something doesn't add up. I've seen this more than once:/

This site should be illegal. They say that each bid increases the amount you pay by 1 cent, but that is not always the case(they are breaking their own rules). When the amount of bids reaches about 33% of the retail price, Beezids freezes the price. So people keep bidding on it hoping that they will be the last bidder. If the price kept going up, people would eventually stop bidding because the cost is too close to retail, but by freezing the price, Beezid keeps collecting money as long as someone places a bid every 10 seconds. Beezid allows you to autobid so that people do not have to be online to bid off all the money they paid to buy bids. Who knows how beezids is collecting in the costs of bids over the actual value of the product, but I would guess over a million a day. This site is criminal and should be shut down.

Scam, it is not clear when you sign up that you have to pay $65 up front to have the right to bid. Second it is also not clear that you are spending money every time you bid. This is very misleading because in a regular auction if you did not win the auction you don't pay anything. I got suckered into this website by someone on craiglist saying they sold their iphone but will let me in on a secret that they brought the iphone on Beezid. I am going to report this to the Attorney General's office and see if they will go after this website/company for decptive trade practice.

Not a scam, but you could end up losing a lot of money from using such a site as it's basically a form of gambling.
