Can a light brown eyed and blue eyed parent make a dark brown eyed baby?

Yes. Sort of works with hair colour too. My husband has back hair and dark brown eyes, i have blue eyes and light brown hair. Our son has dark brown eyes and medium brown hair and our daughter has really6 funny coloured eyes, there not brown or green, strange colour, and bright blonde hair! I can't wait to see what color hair and eyes this bump will be :)

Yes. This is kind of like me. My mom had blonde hair and my dad has brown hair yet I have red hair. This is because my grandmother had red hair. The genes my mother got from my grandmother carried on to her but the blonde hair my grandfather had over powered the red hair my mother would have had otherwise. So in other words, my grandmother's genes stuck with my mom and carried onto me. This would work the same with eye color.

Yep. There are multiple genes for eye color so it is not as simple as the exact color of the parents. Brown eyes are dominant and there are lots of variations in shades of color, so it is perfectly possible.
