  • I have a ccj after a car accident that wasn't even my fault?

I have just looked on my credit report as I am looking to rent a house. I was horrified to find out about a ccj that I knew nothing about. I have had no correspondence about this and after ringing the court found out it was for an accident that wasnt my fault and was dealt with by my insurers!! They sent the letters to my old address which of course is why I didn't respond. I cannot understand why they can just slap me with a ccj when they haven't got full details and it was for a car accident that wasn't even my fault!!! Now I think I'm screwed for renting a house :(

  • A Question about my credit report?

Me and my husband would like to get a mortgage, i have a bad credit history and my score is classed as "very poor"

After looking at my credit report, (in my maiden name as I am yet to be added to the electoral roll in my married name) half of the bad debt I have isnt showing up. We did move house, which is when my car got repossessed and then moved back to the address we are living at now.

I am guessing that this is the reason that my credit report isnt showing it?

The only thing that is confusing me is that on the linked addresses section of my credit report, my previous address is showing on there, but the debt from that address isnt showing on my profile, is there a reason for this?

I was wondering if it was worth even telling the mortgage company I lived there as it was only a very short period of time and if its not coming up on my credit report who's to know!!??

    Thanks in advance

  • can lenders see how long you have been on the electoral roll for?

when lenders are doing a credit check, they check to see if you are on the electoral roll. I just wondered if they can check to see how long you were on the electoral roll for? or is it just as plain and simple as 'you're on there, that means you live there' ?

  • Who can see my medical records?

I have found out that a person I know has been looking at my medical records and has been sharing the details with other people. I am going to make a complaint, but firstly, I would like to know who exactly in a hospital has access to my records. This person is an assistant medical secretary in urology. I haven't been to the hospital for years so there is no need for my records to be accessed at all, so what I am wondering is, is there a way of tracking what these people have been looking at?

Just so when I complain, it isn't my word against theirs and thy can clearly see they have been accessing my records when there has been absolutely no reason to?

  • NCP Parking Contravention Charge Notice In Company Car?

I received a parking contravention charge notice from an NCP car park just before christmas. Basically, they don't give tickets you can stick you your window and when I closed my car door, it got blown off of my dash :( I have been reading so much on the internet about whether I should pay the fine, and everyone seems to say no. Its astronomical at £100, it was £50 but I just didn't have the money right before Christmas. The problem is, I have a company car, and I don't want to get in trouble with my company for not paying it. I was just wondering if anyone else has been in the same position and what they did?

    Thanks in advance!

  • How can I stop my cat from pooing on my carpet?!?

I have 2 cats, one male one female, both neutered, just lately the female had decided that she doesn't want to use the litter tray, and will not stop pooing on my carpet, there has been no changes, the litter tray is the same, the litter is the same, I have tried moving it to a more private place, moving it to an easier place to get to, I can't move it to the place she is pooing as it is directly in front of my front door! I am absolutely at my whits end I have tried shouting at her smacking her and she just blatantly ignores everything. I have also taken her to the vets and she is as healthy as can be

  • How do I evict my partner from my home?

I live in a rented property and have been doing so since the end of June. I want to separate from my partner but he refuses to leave and is telling me that I am the one that is going to go, I can't do this as I have nowhere to go as my family love miles away and I have my job to think about. His family only live 15 minutes away which is also closet to his job so it's not as if he has nowhere to go. When we applied for the property the estate agents put the property in my name as my partner has a ccj so I am the one solely responsible for paying the rent which I can afford to do even with him not here. The only thing I don't know is how I get him out. I have had enough and want my life back.

    Thankyou in advance

  • Buying GAP insurance after an accident?

I had an accident of my financed car back in May, however I don't have any GAP insurance and I am worried that the insurance company will write my car off. If I buy GAP insurance now will they cover me for my accident back in May? The insurance company are taking forever and a day to sort it out and they haven't even looked at the damage to my car yet, I have only sent pictures as I am awaiting liability from the third party.

    Thanks

  • purchase interest on a credit card I haven't purchased anything on?!?

I haven't used my credit card in about 6 months, I still have a balance on it and I'm trying to pay it off. I keep getting "purchase interest" and "cash interest" charged.

I read that they can only charge you this for the month that you bought things on the credit card, but I am still getting charged this 6 months later, is this right?

  • Career decision help?

I currently work in a bank and have applied for a job in the same company for the next position up, I'm really good at my job, it involves sales as well as customer service and I hit my targets every month. The only thing is, I'm just not that interested in the job itself, I do find it quite boring and to tell the truth I am sick to death of sitting on my backside all day. I have however, seen a job advertised working with race horses, I absolutely love horses and have been around them all my life, I am a strong rider and have enough experience for the job. I'm just not sure though of the career progression in this field, would someone be able to tell me what options there are for progression in this field, and also whether I would be making the right decision leaving my bank job? I really don't know which is the right decision and I don't know whether my heart is ruling my head.

  • Do i have to work my notice?

I have been kicked out from where I was living and now have had to move back to my mums which is over an hour and a half away from where I work.

i have spoken to work who have told me that i do not have any annual leave left and i therefore have to work my full 4 weeks notice. I am worried about setting off so early in the morning this time of year as the ice will make it very dangerous, plus the amount of driving i will be doing back and forth with traffic and that.

is there any way i can get out of working my notice, or at least cut it down? especially as i did not leave my home out of choice?

when i started my job i signed a contract as well

  • partners parents are EVIL help!!?

Me and my partner have been together for 7 years nearly and I don't think I can cope any more. We live with his parents and at first when I moved in everything was fine until they started to show their true colours. They always seem to have no money and always rely on us to give them money, I had to buy them an £800 cooker out of my catalogue as theirs had broke which I had no problem with at first as they offered to pay me every month for it, which never happened because after the first month they reckoned they couldn't afford it so I had to foot the bill of £60 per month to pay it as other wise I would have ended up in debt. Then the shower broke, so of course the same thing happened again and as they have got me over a barrel, I have to pay it. I then paid £500 of mortgage arrears off for them along with other bits and pieces that all amounted to around £1000 when I got some inheritance money for my last birthday as a gesture to help them out. However despite all this and countless other things I have bought and helped them with they seem to think I'm just some c*nt. They slag me off to my boyfriend, and when we have an argument it can never be just between us two it involves them every single time because they stick the knife in and cleverly tell my bf what he wabts to hear, they gather ammunition over the weeks such as hw long I had left my things in the tumble dryer, and when I didn't buy milk and bring it all up when we argue which of course riles my partner even more and we have an even bigger argument. The biggest blow came however, when they used my ebay account to buy something, looked on their bank statements to see something had gone out for ebay at £13, allegedly "forgot" they bought something, and when our next argument came, told my boyfriend that I was a theif and I had stolen the money to buy something on ebay and hoped they wouldn't notice!!! And of course because my bf was already p*ssed at me decided to have a go at me, I just couldn't believe it. I am not close to any of my family and don't really have anyone to talk to about my troubles and I feel so alone sometimes because I have no one for advice. Do you think that our 7 year relationship is worth holding on to when this is always happening? I am trying do hard to move out but me and my partner just simply can't afford it but I don't know if I can cope any more. If we split up this is exactly what his parents want....

  • My mum had a deep vein thrombosis in her early 30s now i have a bulging varicose vein at 21 help :-(?

i have a bulging varicose vein on the back of my calf that is spreading, you can see the rest of the vein close to the surface and covers an area 3.5 inches long a d 3.5 inches wide. I am only 21 and so upset about this, my doctor said that I am too young to Have anything other than a stocking which I think is highly unfair as I cant wear shorts, skirts or go swimming. My mum had a DVT in her early 30s which should mean that I am at a higher risk right? i live a healthy lifestyle and im not overweight, i have tried the stocking and it has just done nothing for the vein as its just been getting worse, what do i do? :'-(
