can lenders see how long you have been on the electoral roll for?
when lenders are doing a credit check, they check to see if you are on the electoral roll. I just wondered if they can check to see how long you were on the electoral roll for? or is it just as plain and simple as 'you're on there, that means you live there' ?

NO - this information is not available to lenders.
It is also not a viable way to determine anything to do with lending, as the person may have only just registered but been a legal citizen for many years.
They use this information in conjunction with other sources of information, to confirm what they need to know.

the amount of information about people that is on record would probably surprise most of them and these so called businesses sell it to each other it's scandalous what goes on behind closed doors they probably know which side of the bed you sleep on if you are in a relationship

If they have your Social Security number they know just about everything about you including the name of your kindergarten teacher.
