I'm 16 years old. Because I guess it's not that we like that about them, but we like them, do you know what I mean? And actually, I would chose you, not the d-bag, you seem like a really nice guy and d-bags are just pointless in liking, because in the end we all get hurt and regret them, so yes. I would look for how nice they are, how sweet they are, how smart they are, how caring they are, how funny they are, how happy they are, how they are as a person, if they have a great personality, if they aren't heartbreakers, if they don't get pissed off easily, if they smile more than frown or get mad, if they are about my height or taller (not shorter), if they dress appropriatley, if they are decent, if they presentable and if they know how to treat a girl and how to be in a relationship and also if they're understanding and dependable. Looks don't matter sooo much, but they have to be good looking, not like an Abercrombie model or anything. I don't know you, but I like you just the way you are and forget those girls who want jerks, find a girl who will appreciate you for who you are inside and for how you treat them, not some girl who is stupid enough to go with a jerk. OK, I'm much older than the girls you want to answer this, but from my perspective it's about confidence. A d-bag is someone who exudes confidence. He doesn't care about what anyone thinks and says stupid things. An overly nice guy who worries about how other people think doesn't appear confident and so is less appealing. I think when girls get older they can distinguish between confidence and a**holes, but at 15, 16, 17 it's much more difficult.

Honestly girls like bad boys.... I know I did when I was 16/17 and went with a boy who didn't treat me nice and cheated. Now Im 20 and look for more of a nice guy, who's down to earth and is easy to talk to. Girls may not appreciate you now but they will and if they don't they obviously don't realise how nice of a guy you really are, so move on and find a girl who does appreciate you. It may be easy for me to say and you may not realise it now.... but really girls will look for a nice guy like you, so keep your chin up and keep being yourself, not somebody your not!! =)
