Really slim. I don't think Roger will even get to the semifinals. His opponent in the quarters will either be Tsonga(who beat him in Wimbledon and Montreal) or Fish, who is the winner of the US Open series and has been playing phenomenal. He won a title on hard courts this summer and lost to the eventual champions in Montreal and Cincinnati. Federer on the other hand has been struggling since the Australian Open. He is starting to decline and has major meltdowns. I don't think he can beat hard-hitting opponents nowadays. He also doesn't seem motivated anymore. I can see him maybe reaching the semifinals if he puts on a great performance against Fish, but if Tsonga is his opponent, he will lose. Even if he somehow reaches the semis, he will not beat Nole.

Rafa has also been struggling all year long, he has not played his best tennis this year. There hasn't been 1 match that he has played amazing from start to finish. Like Federer he also has meltdowns and lapses in concentration. Due to all of that, he lost 5 matches in a row to Novak, all in finals. That affected him a lot, resulting in lack of confidence, which has never been this low. He lost in a shocking match in Montreal against Dodig where he had a lot of opportunities and he got totally outplayed by Fish in Cincinnati.

Novak is playing like a beast all year long and he does not seem to be tired at all. He is so full of energy and life, so motivated. It's hard picking against him since he is the clear heavy favorite to win this tournament, which I think he will successfully do. This is tennis, so anything is possible, but I would love another Rafa-Nole final.

Pretty high actually. I reckon that there's 50% chance that either Federer or Nadal will win, a 45% chance that Djokovic will win, and a 5% chance that a lucky player like Murray, Fish or Tsonga will win.

The chances are, that the top 4 seeds: Djokovic, Nadal, Federer and Murray will all be semi-finalists. So for Federer and Nadal to both be in the final Nadal would need to beat Murray, and Federer would need to beat Djokovic.

I have no doubt that Nadal will beat Murray, Nadal's the defending champion and genuinely the better player. As for Djokovic and Federer, that will be a close game. Federer definitely can do it. He was the one who ended Novak's winning streak back in the French Open. Plus, Federer dominated the US Open for 5 straight years so he must have confidence that he can get through to the final.

In my opinion, it's either going to be a Federer-Nadal Final this year, or a Djokovic-Nadal will final. Since Nadal's in both of them I see him winning this year, but it could be anyone. Tennis is such an unpredictable sport! :)

Pretty high. The big 3 are all playing great, but I think Nadal will take it. He's playing a different style by flattening his ball and that's how he beat Djokovic last year.

i think for the women jelena jankovic is going to step up to the plate and take down serena. she has enough game to do so... for the men,, either andy murray is going to beat nadal and then beat federer.. or nadal will beat murry and and federer in the final... no flam for federer either way..

I think Nadal will definitely be in final... but with Roger you never know.. One day he is playing great and magical and the very next day he is in trouble.. With him its really hard to predict how far he will reach..

He plays either fish or Tsonga in QF and then Novak..

I really hope we get to see Roger and Rafa final as this is the only slam they have never played in finals...
