Well, considering the word "pagan" means "not Christian," I would say that Christians are not really pagans. Christians could worship the Great Horned Earth Mother - that still wouldn't make them *pagans*.

(Okay, yes, the Latin "paganus" meant "rural," but the modern use of the word "pagan" describes any religion that is not specifically Christianity, Judaism, or Islam, and has nothing to do with the actual beliefs of the group, i.e. monotheistic vs. polytheistic.)

They stole the pagans churches to get their own started, and born of a virgin they stole from Horus, then they stole Dec 25 and Easter from the Pagans. Yes they are really something else. Can you think of some of the other else?

Went to varsity; stopped attending church centers. Dated a Mormon woman and grew to alter into in touch along with her temple. Later grew to alter into baptized, yet only after compromising my own ideals. Disgusted with myself, I left the church the day after my baptism and my agnostic section began. i exchange into 24. After some years of analyzing, taking classes in faith in college (one on international faith, one in comparative fantasy, one on Christianity, and one on Buddhism) and analyzing a NIV replica of the Bible alongside the way, i found out i exchange into of course an atheist. That exchange into approximately ten years in the past. i've got on account that found out, maybe some years in the past now, that i exchange into additionally anti-theism. no longer anti-theist, suggestions you. i admire human beings.
