What do small minded metal heads think of the fact that beiber is better than mettalica?

If you are in fact trolling then it is quite subtle and more subject to argument than most...I give you props for that alone...

Here's the prob, Bob. Metallica was the one that all those other crappy bands copied, not the other way around. Metallica was rocking it out 30 years ago when the guys that formed these bands were kids. They grew up listening to Metallica, and the sincerest form of flattery is mimicry.

However, in the late 90s, Metallica stopped wearing blue jeans and T-shirts and started crying that Napster was making them only ultra-rich instead of ultra-super-rich, and they started to suck. Still, they had a good run for a long time as a good, honest, metal band.

Furthermore, what kind of a musically handicapped person are you to compare Metallica to Justin Queer-ber? Do you know what the word genre means? I'm a musician, so I only respect musical talent, I don't respect "artists" (and I use that term quite loosely) that don't compose their own music, don't play any instruments (even I can sing great and I've never taken a lesson or really practiced or learned how to from a professional, everyone can sing that has any kind of innate sense of pitch and can tell what's in tune and what's not, it's not hard), can't read or write music, etc.

I think 3 Doors Down are the most God awful hunk of rubbish, and I'm not fond of give-me-my-Nickleback-because-your-album-(Yahoo Answers censored this part), Godsmack is alright, and Disturbed isn't that great. But though shalt not place the label of suckage on early Metallica! Even if you don't like the style of music, you have to respect the guitar solo in Master of Puppets for the technical and beautiful piece that it is! Well, only if you're a guitar player or a REAL music lover, I suppose.

I have no problem with people who like generic factory made pop crap. It ain't music. But everyone has the right to like whatever they want, be it "drek" or not. (Big word for a 12 year old, by the way.) But no sane person can compare Metallica to any boy bands or pop princesses or any of that rubbish. It makes no sense, it's illogical.

So that's why nobody stops to think that Beaver is better than Metallica. They're not even in the same galaxy, musically speaking. That's like saying an onion is better than a unicycle. It makes just about as much sense.

PS, LOL at the clip that someone posted above, "We don't say German in America". That's so dumb he must have been confused by the accent or something, no one can truly be that stupid, thanks for sharing it, it was really funny :)

Well , even that your question is a complete nonsense since you're comparing two artists from totaly different genres to each other I have to tell you that whatever your opinion is about Metallica you need to remember a simple fact that this band was main part of the developing of a TOTALLY new Metal genre called THRASH METAL which means that they contributed in the history of a genre of music and of course not to mention that their music is fantastic and even if they sucked in an album or two that doesn't make them a horrible band on the other hand what did Beibers do or what did he achieve in the musical terms ?

Well, at least James Hetfield doesn't sound like a teenage girl, and Metallica was one of the pioneers of thrash.

How does it feel to know that Alvin and the Chipmunks sold more albums than Bieber, had more #1 hits than Bieber, and won more awards than Bieber including five Grammy Awards. Not to mention, Alvin and the Chipmunks are listed as one of the most successful music groups of all time.

How does it feel to know that 3 fictional chipmunks are better than Justin Bieber? Not to mention... You spelled his name wrong. Yeah, that's got to sting a little.

Metallica changed music in a positive way. They were pioneers of thrash metal. I can't quite say the same for Bieber. Bieber is proof that the music industry is going down the toilet.
