because even quotes from the bible undermine it's own validity.

frirst, they belong to one branch of one church and they only read that churches dogma .. not the whole range of religious texts that exist. consequnty they arent well informed on their belief system and most dont understand the majority of religious texts
second, religious people are very insecure , if they dont find some way to argue with you they worry about being sent to hell for being ignorant

People are nuts. They didn't listen to Jesus either and Jesus said that what was done to Him would be done to us. It has nothing to do with you it is those people hate God.
