I'm nervous about high school?

You'll probably get a map, and you'll find your friends, maybe set up a meeting place before school?

Do your homework everyday and study!

I was really really neverous when I was going to start high school too! Trust me, by the end of the first day, you will know where all your classes are!

I thought I was going to hate high school, because I hated middle school, but that disnt happen I love high school! It's so much better than middle school! Don't worry juniors and seniors won't pick on you at all! They will be nice! Sophomores might be a little mean at first, just because they think there so cool they aren't freshies anymore!

Also, I was never called "freshmen" accept by other freshmen..

I'm going into high school real soon, too.. If you've attended the orientation meeting (if they had one), they would've given you a map for you to look at. Even if you didn't get some sort of map, it's quite easy to navigate around since every room is numbered. Or, if you're like me, you might have already explored the school to find all your classes already. I don't think having bad grades in grade 8 will really affect your future, in any case, as universities focus on grade 11 and 12 marks. In fact, I don't think it's really about the marks at all, because my friend's brother isn't that special in terms of marks, but tells us that it's really more about the student profile and if you did your community hours. The only real use for our grade 8 marks was to apply for high school, but now it's over, it's fine~.

Don't worry about getting lost or finding your friends, everything will work out. I went to a school with 2000 students and I still managed to find my way around. As for finding friends, you will either bump in to an old friend in a class or at lunch, or you will make a new friend in class. Also don't cling to people you recognize from middle school. If you limit yourself to old friends you will miss an opportunity to make new and possibly better friends. High school is easy but don't slack off too much, you'll regret it when college time comes around. Don't be nervous and you'll be fine. Good Luck.

Don't worry :) High school is just that, school. You'll adapt pretty quickly, and you'll make new friends. It's also not difficult to maintain good grades, just stay focused. You can have fun at the same time. Just enjoy it.
