Anyone else miss IROC?

First of all, I'm asking this in the Nascar category because the Nascar drivers usually did the best.

That being said, does anyone else wish for the days of IROC again? I always thought it was interesting to see the world's greatest drivers in a competition for bragging rights. (If you think about it, that's really all they ever won.)

Thoughts?

The most recent version wasn't that great. If they did it right and could allure the best drivers from around the world, yes. Imagine Jimmie Johnson, Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Loeb, etc battling on a mix of short tracks, dirt tracks, road courses, etc? It would be amazing. But that last version of Iroc was not amazing.

The IROC series was pretty cool, I would like to see come back but as MBL said it needs some variety not just super-speedways, dirt, short tracks, desert racing the whole nine that would make it fair across the board and add a real interesting spin on the whole deal.

Yes, I do miss it, but they need to kick it up a notch, bring in a more variety of tracks, and try to bring in the biggest names in auto racing.
