Weight loss is all about energy imbalance.

First you need to figure out the amount of calories you take in on an average day and compare that amount to the calories that you will take in with said diet.

There are 3500 calories in 1 pound. So therefore you can figure out the difference between the original calories consumed vs your new diet calories and divide that number into 3500. This will tell you how long it will take you to loose 1lb.

Example: if your original diet is 2200 calories per day and your new diet is 1800 calories that is a difference of 400 calories per day. 3500/400=8.75. this means it will take you about 9 days to loose 1lb.

Put a two litre water bottle as well as a glass on your desk just about every morning. Get through it by simply lunch, and do the same within the afternoon. You’ll exercise better and also recover faster if you’re hydrated. I drink some water whenever someone asks me a silly question or sends a dumb email... find something that works to suit your needs!
