I'm making a packing list for boarding school and it's huge! I just know I'll miss something, but do you think you could help give me some ideas of what I might need? They can be broad categories, like sports stuff, body products, clothes, etc., or specific things like bug spray or something.

Also, anyone who's gone/goes to boarding school or stays in a college dormitory, do you have any tips for me?

I recently ordered this Juicy Couture tote off of RueLaLa and it was just shipped today. After seeing it in person, I still think it's very cute, but I didn't realize how large it was! I was planning on carrying it around as a bag but this tote is so large that it just cannot function as an everyday purse.

I'm thinking that maybe I'll carry it as my schoolbag (I'm starting 9th grade this year), but it's even a bit large for that!

I can't return it because it was a final sale item. It was such a good deal, though, that I'd keep it anyways, despite its gargantuan size.

Does anyone have any ideas for ways that I can use it?

It really irks me! The line that goes: "even the sun sets in paradise".

Shouldn't it be "the sun sets even in paradise"?

Because the former is basically saying, "among the other things that set in paradise, even the sun does, too" whereas I think they mean the latter which is saying that even in paradise, the sun will set.

Am I making sense?

It's no big deal, it just bugs me every time I hear it.

Long story short, there's this very annoying and rude girl I am technically still friends with who is very persistent when she wants to hang out with someone. I'm going to a boarding school that she isn't going to next year, so I'll be rid of her without having to actually end the friendship (which is nice for me because I'm being a weenie), but all of a sudden she's calling, texting and messaging me constantly to hang out. I know for a fact it's only because she's bored and no one else is hanging out with her, but I reeeeally don't want to do it. In fact, I refuse to. I won't even talk to her on the phone. (I promise I'm not being an awful person, we have a very long history that sort of excuses my unwillingness to see her.) But how do I hold her off for a month? I told her that relatives are here this week so I can't hang out, but what about after that? Should I just make excuse on top of excuse until I leave for boarding school? I just really need some help; I'm terrible at this sort of thing.

Be as honest as you wish, I won't be offended.
